How to take oracle database offline backup in SAP linux platform.

You need to login with ora<SID> User  , you need to run the commands brtools , then it will give you a menu to choose the options

Process Overview:-

1.  Stop the SAP instances
2. Change the initSID.sap file which is present in location of \oracle\SID\11202\database                  backup_root_dir=:\location   backup_dev_type=disk
3. logging to SIDADM and orasid in linux

Then follow the below screenshot.

All the backup files will be saved in the location oracle/SID/backup/*
